Module 2 gave a bird's eye view of the environmental approach to prevention. Now it's time to zoom in on how the approach works one community at a time. No two communities will put the components together in the same way. Whatever the differences, successful programs end up at the same destination -- a better environment and healthier communities with a decrease in risky behaviors.

This module presents actual case studies of how communities have developed comprehensive prevention plans using environmental strategies in the areas of policy, enforcement, education, communication, and collaboration to address common problems.
