Jack was so excited about this new project!

Since moving into their little community, Jack had noticed a lot of children hanging out after the local middle school let out for the day. Because most families had working parents, the kids were unsupervised. There were a few scout troops and some informal groups who met on the playground. Otherwise, there wasn't much for these kids to do.

So, when Jack heard that Cool After School needed a director, he jumped at the chance. What a great way to keep latchkey kids busy and productive after school before their parents got home from work. He was pleased to have a chance to make a difference for the kids in his community.
