Efficiency Evaluation: How Efficiently Are We Providing Our Services?
An efficiency evaluation of Cool After School would be used to ensure that program resources (e.g., money and staff) were being used the best way possible. The goal is to serve the most children at the lowest cost.
This type of evaluation includes studies of the efficiency, or cost-to-benefit ratio, in terms of the effectiveness of the program. This answers the question, "Did we get the most for our money?" Specific questions could include:
- How much did staff salaries cost?
- What was the cost of educational materials?
- What is the rent and utilities expense?
- What is the cost per participant?
