Contracts With Outside Evaluators

With many tasks and a limited budget, Jack needs a clear and concise evaluation contract. At a minimum, the contract needs to contain:

Sample contracts are available in the resource room. It's a good idea to have a lawyer or contracts expert review your contract. There's no boilerplate and problems can arise even if you follow a sample. It also helps to note whether the contract can be modified. You can use Elements of a Basic Contract as a guide.

Make sure you and the evaluator sign and date the contract (in blue or black ink-lawyers are fussy). Be sure to indicate when the contract takes effect. It may not be the date it's signed. Also be sure to make copies for filing and distribution.
