Substance abuse prevention programs offer some unique challenges to the evaluator. In essence, your evaluation is designed to verify that your program caused something NOT to happen, rather than to verify that something did happen. This module introduces the types of challenges associated with prevention programs and how to manage them in your evaluation design.
