How Can Jack Use This Statistical Information To Improve His Program?

Jack might consider:
- Making a distinction between marijuana use and alcohol use. The two topics should not be lumped together as if they were the same drug. There are different considerations for using each substance, such as cost, availability, perception of harm, and social and legal consequences.
- Exploring more effective strategies for reducing marijuana and addressing abuse. The kids who are consuming a lot of marijuana may be using other drugs as well and possibly may have a substance abuse problem. Jack's program is a prevention program, not a treatment program. Jack might consider:
-
- Inviting a substance abuse treatment expert for consultation
- Making referrals to treatment
